At American Martial Arts Center the grappling program
includes the elements and techniques of modern day
wrestling, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Judo.
As most confrontations will end up on the ground,
combining the best of these three systems results in
a tried and tested method of unstoppable fighting skills.
This course is designed to prepare the student for
ultimate ground fighting.

Congratulations to:
David Marshall taking 1st place in the Advanced Gi-less division
David won 4 matches; 3 by submission and 1 by points.
Richard Spradling took 1st place in the Beginner Heavyweight Gi-less division.
Chris Saar took 2nd place in the beginner Gi-less 160lbs division.
Chris tapped out his first three opponents
Anthony Staub took 2nd place in the Teens 14 to 17 Gi-less division.

Congratulations! David Marshall from Vierras MMA won the 4-Man 185 middle weight Tournament. David, who fights at 170, took on the Challenge with a one day notice.

Gladiator Challenge ROUGHNECKS - August 13th, 2008 - Yolo County, CA   
Congratulations! Kris Zabish from Vierras MMA stops a tough Dave Rasouli from Carnage Fight Team in the 2nd round by Triangle Tap Out.
Also on the Card was Billy Carothers, losing a close fight to Aaron Hedrick in the 3rd round by Guillotine Choke.

International Fighting Championships Warriors Challenge XXII
April 12, 2008 - Gold Country Casino in Oroville, CA.
Russell Giminski Won his match against Clint Blake from Team Renaud, Giminski dominated the fight, taking Blake down at will. Giminski got hit at the end of the 2nd round with a good right hand from Blake that dropped him. In the 3rd round Giminski dropped Blake with a round kick to the body and followed in and got the mount, Giminski started to ground and pound Blake when Blake’s corner threw in the towel.

Kris Zabish Won his match against Gabby Solorio from Team VooDoo. Kris showed excellent stand up and good take downs. Kris finished the fight with a Triangle Choke Tap Out in the 2nd Round.
